*Sanctuary Choir - College/Adult

This forty voice choir rehearses Thursdays from 7 - 8:30 p.m. (September - June).  They present a major choral work either during Advent or Holy Week and sing for 10:30 worship service year round.

*Kids Sing - Children K - 5th grade

The children rehearse Sunday mornings at 9:15 and participate in Sunday worship periodically.

*Celebration Ringers - College/Adult

This group of thirteen musicians ring five octaves of Schulmerich handbells and 4 ˝ octaves of handchimes.  They rehearse Wednesdays from 7 - 8 p.m. (September - May) and participate in worship at least one Sunday a month.  The Celebration Ringers participate in handbell festivals and community events.

*Instrumental Ensemble - All ages

Brass, Woodwinds and strings of all ages and stages accompany congregational singing the third Sunday of each month.  This group rehearses prior to worship on the Sundays they play.

*Instruments of Praise

Guitars, electric bass, percussion participate in worship the fourth Sunday of each month.  Rehearsal times vary according to participants’ availability.

*Intergenerational Handbell Ensemble -

Short term handbell adventure offer twice a year for children and parent/older sibling.  This adventurous group are immersed in the music reading/handbell playing experience for four weeks culminating in worship participation.  Group rehearses Sundays from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.

I was ordained Deacon in Full Connection in 2000.
Have served Fort Hill UMC since 1986.
Currently serve as Minister of Music and Congregational Care.
Schools attended:  Longwood College, Southern Illiniois University, Presbyterian School of Christian Education/Union Theological Seminary.
